About the Speaker

Peter Allen, BSRC, RRT, NPS, SDS, RST, RPSGT, FAAST is an accreditation and sleep lab site surveyor visiting sleep disorders centers across the US. Throughout his 40-year career in respiratory care, sleep and DME, Peter has served in numerous leadership and board positions, including on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Sleep Society, as National Sleep Section Chair for the American Association for Respiratory Care, as a board member for the American Association of Sleep Technologists, and as an exam consultant to the National Board for Respiratory Care. 

In 2018, the American Association for Respiratory Care recognized Peter as the National Sleep Practitioner of the Year, and in 2021, he was recognized as a Fellow of the American Association for Sleep Technologists. Peter is the Sleep Section Chair-Elect for the American Association for Respiratory Care.
